This is a two days and one night trip. Here is the detail of the "short Tsunami Weekend Trip" in Around Banda Aceh
Day 01
We will pick you up at the Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport and will take you for the "welcome coffe" in one of the very famous traditional cafe in Banda Aceh.
afterwards, we will take you to the hotel to put your belonging and then the journey stats.
first we will visit the famous and Beautiful grand mosque-Mesjid Raya Baiturrahman, you will have sometimes to take photo there before we go to the famous Kapal Apung. Kapal Apung is an on-ship electricity generator that was located at the Banda Aceh Harbour before the Tsunami. The Tsunami water swept the ship to a village in the mainland. you will find more history while visiting this site. from the top of the ship, you will be able to see most of Banda Aceh city, and of course you may take the photo from this very nice angle.
After that we will take you to another small mosque that survived from the Tsunami called mesjid Baiturrahim. The new Banda Aceh Ferry Harbour which is very close to the mosque is our next target. from this place, you can see the beautiful view of we island (sabang) and other 'kepulauan Aceh'.
Having satisfied with the view, we will take you to Lampuuk and Lhoknga beaches. on the way to the beach, we will stop by Tjoet Nja Dhien house. She is an indonesia national female hero from Aceh. his house is stil very traditional with Acehnese Style.
we will do the "sunset hunting" from one of the beaches, therefore, dont forget your camera.
if you are a muslim, you may join us for the magrib praying at the Lampuuk Mosque. The mosque is the only building that survived from the Tsunami in the Lampuuk village. Afterwards, we will go back to Banda Aceh for the dinner and rest.
Day 02.
This is the last day for this very short Tsunami weekend trip. After Breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up and take you to Aceh Museum. Afterwards we will take you to Tsunami museum and that is the last objects of our tour. the rest of the day, we can take you to several places for shopping or for luch before we take you to the airport.
